Mayor Charlie Hatfield voted yes to break a 2-2 tie on the salary ordinance at Monday night’s City Council meeting. Voting for the raises were Donnie Fisher and Susan Eisenhauer and voting against were Ric Helms and Bruce Haughton.
Since it was announced in the paper a few weeks ago, several citizens have expressed their opinions to the Council members about this issue.
