Tracksters brave blustery conditions at Mudecas

TECUMSEH - All three of our area track teams competed in the blustery, cold conditions at the 2024 Mudecas Track Meet which was held at Tecumseh on Saturday, April 20th. This was by far the biggest track meet our area athletes have ever competed in with over fifteen teams competing for team honors and to medal in the top 8 spots of each event.

All three of our area track teams competed in the 2024 MUDECAS Track Meet which was held on Saturday, April 20th at Tecumseh. Perfect conditions for Lewiston Track Invitational

PAWNEE CITY - The weather conditions were practically perfect for the running of the 2024 Lewiston Track Invitational on Tuesday, April 9th. There were eleven teams in attendance for the day with the Johnson-Brock Lady Eagles winning the team competition with 143 total points.

Fairview Golf League

PAWNEE CITY - The Fairview Golf Club held their Men’s League on Thursday night, April 11th with six golfers in attendance. Results were: Gary Ruegge, 1st place, net 21; Jay Boyer, 2nd, net 34; Todd Bowhay, 3rd, net 36; Jeff Nider net 37; Terry Borcher net 39 and Dan Sunneberg net 42.

P.C. boys place 3rd at N-V Track Invite

NEMAHA CENTRAL -The Pawnee City Indian Track team participated in the Nemaha Central Track Invitational on Tuesday, April 9th in ideal conditions for the day. The Pawnee City boys placed 3rd overall with 85 points.

HTRS/P.C. Golf Invite

KIRKMAN’S LAKEVIEW GOLF COURSE - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/ Pawnee City golf team held their annual HTRS Invitational on Tuesday, April 9th. The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds won the team honors with 315 total team points followed by the Auburn Bulldogs with 342 team points.

Hands up......how many of you folks have fond memories of the sounds of summer ball games wafting up from the old ball field in Table Rock? Well, if this brought a smile to your heart, I have exciting news for you! That sound may be coming back. You see, there is this group of fellas who have been brainstorming for over a year on just how to bring a youth ball team back to the fields in Table Rock.

Track teams start outdoor seasons at JCC Invitational

TECUMSEH - All three of our area track teams braved the cold conditions in the morning and had more seasonal temperatures by the afternoon at their first outdoor meet last Tuesday, April 2nd at the Johnson County Central Invitational.
