Ina Laura Spier, 106 of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, September 6 at the Premier Estate. She was born on August 31, 1914 to Joseph and Anna (Wenzl) Clema, on the family farm 6 miles S.W. of Pawnee City.

Ina grew up Southwest of Pawnee City. She attended Chatawa School through the 8th grade.

On September 25, 1935, Ina was married to Albert O.Spier. To this union a son Albert W was born.

They lived 44 years on the same farm and retired to Pawnee City in 1979. Ina was a big western fan, reading, movies and TV shows.

She moved to Premier Estates on December 31, 2013, and stayed active until the last few weeks.

Ina was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Anna Clema husband Albert, twin daughters, Joan and Jane, brothers, Joe and wife Maxine, Vincent, sister, Alice and Ray Wenzl.

She is survived by her son Albert W. And wife Arlene, grandsons and spouse, Eric and Connie, Kevin and Molly, Joel, great grandchildren, Sarah, Ericka, Max and Alexis, great great granddaughter, Bellah, nieces, nephews.

A Funeral Mass was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2020, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Steinauer, Nebraska. Visitation was on Friday one hour before service at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Officiating was Father Michael Christensen. A register book was available for signing on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska. Memorials to family choice.
