Bryce Randall Niss was born on July 31, 1985 to Randall and Deb (Schilling) Niss in Pawnee City, Nebraska. He attended Pawnee City Public Schools and graduated in 2004. He was united in marriage to Danielle Broady on August 8, 2009, at the First Presbyterian Church in Pawnee City. Bryce and Dani resided on the Niss family farm, where they built upon the farm established by Bryce’s great-grandparents, grandparents, and parents; creating a cow/calf herd that was respected by buyers across the region. This union was blessed with three children, Weston Randall, Reid Jeffrey and LilaBelle Rosanne.

As a child, Bryce was a funloving, outgoing, happy boy. He loved being outdoors, participating in sports, and being with his friends. He always had the best smile. He and his brothers had a perfectly normal relationship - fighting with each other, playing with each other, then, later in life, being loving uncles to each other’s’ children.

Bryce was a dedicated father. The patience he had with his children and wife was a blessing. He taught his children the importance of work before play, instilling an appreciation for doing chores and working the land. His dedication to the farm was purely to build something for his children and set them up for success. His passions in life included his family, farm, animals, camping, boating, and offroading with friends. Bryce is known by those who loved him for his fun, easy-going personality and tendency to be ornery, knowing which buttons to push. At home he would tease his kids, wrestle with them, and then help them with homework. He never turned down a request to have a helper in the combine, tractor, or truck and even taught Reid how to run the skid loader to help with chores. Bryce valued his independence but appreciated the help and support he received from friends and family while working calves, harvesting, or just trying to learn more about farming and cattle. Bryce was a proud member of the Pawnee County Rural Water District, Autism parents community and Midland Seed family.

Bryce passed into eternal life on November 17, 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Dani Niss, children, Weston, Reid and LilaBelle Niss of Pawnee City, parents, Randy and Deb Niss of Pawnee City, brothers Derek (Amanda) Niss, Pawnee City and Dr. Kent (Katie) Niss of Pawnee City, grandparents, Bob and Helen Schilling of Pawnee City, Bob and Colleen Niss of Pawnee City, nieces and nephews Sullivan Niss, Cal Niss, Eleanor Niss all of Pawnee City, parents-in-law Jeff and Lori Broady of Johnson, sisters-in-law Jordan Broady of Omaha and Michelle Broady of Johnson, grandparents-in-law Terry Broady and Norma Speckmann, aunts and uncles Mike & Sharon Schilling, Jay and Kim Schilling, Kathy Evasco, Les & Lanette Speckmann, LuRae & Bob Hallstrom, Lynette & Craig Underwood, Ricki Broady and many cousins and friends.
