Pawnee County Deputy Josh Townsend has taken a job with the Richardson County Sheriff.
Pawnee County Sheriff Braden Lang told the Council Townsend resigned at the Monday night City Council meeting.
This leaves the department with just two fulltime certified officers Lang and Deputy Brad Willey. Former Sheriff Jayme Reed has told Lang she can work part-time to help, Lang said.
