“Which one is Peggy Glenn with the peg leg?”

Body
In February 2015, Fran and Bob Blecha and I gathered pictures from the Argus Newspaper Museum. The Argus was to be remodeled, and we were moving the extensive photograph collection to a safe place. It was February and freezing in the unheated building but we worked steadily.

Hope flourishes in the context of community, so This season after Christmas we need each other. We need each other to remind ourselves and others of this resurrection joy. We all need a reminder that even on the bleakest day, Christians are never without hope! We need to be cheerleaders for each other, as we serve and sacrifice for Jesus.

Ferel Cats

Body
Erin McGuire, founder of Wild Witch Cat Rescue, met with the city council Mondy evening to promote her TNVR program. TNVR, which stands for “Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return,” is McGuire’s plan for managing the local cat population. Traditional methods like “Catch and Kill” have been scientifically proven to be ineffective as the population rebounds. As the name suggests, through TNVR, stray cats are humanely trapped, spayed, vaccinated and then returned to their outdoor homes. Not only does this prevent the population from spiking through new litters, but it also helps to prevent the spread of diseases among cats and humans.
