Good weather is always the farmer’s best friend and so far, the weather has been almost ideal for growing crops, local producer Don Bloss said. “We’ve had some rain pretty much when we’ve needed it and although we don’t like the hot, humid weather that is the kind of weather the crops need to produce good yields,” he said.
