Gage County Extension Agent,,Paul Hay calls the corn harvest ‘bad news.’

He was talking about the fact that corn producers have started to harvest because it is so dry in this area this year.

He predicts low yields being around 50 bushels an acre and high yields not getting much above 100 bushels.
